Scrabble Club


Seawell Scrabble Club meets every Thursday after school in the Seawell Library, and is open to all Seawell students in grades 4-5.  Our first meeting of the school year will be on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Parents are welcome to attend the first meeting along with their children.

At each session, we start with a word puzzle or challenge, then spend 15 minutes discussing new words or game strateg
y.  The remaining club time is spent playing a game.  Refreshments are always provided.

Seawell students will have an opportunity to compete for the NC State School Scrabble Championship on March 18, 2017. 

The Seawell Scrabble Club hosted the North Carolina School Scrabble Championships in March 2016! 
Tournament Results

Several Seawell students have competed in the National School Scrabble Championship

 This year's National School SCRABBLE® Championships will be held in April 21-23, 2017, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.
